Investigations Role

We're seeking a skilled investigator to join our team.

The Investigator plays a critical role in examining complaints or allegations of serious misconduct. This includes administering the Fit & Proper framework, providing assessments and recommendations on candidates with adverse findings or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine complaints or allegations of serious misconduct in a fair, independent, and prompt manner.
  • Administer prescribed sanctions for breaches of sales conduct by distribution channels.
  • Be competent and conversant with relevant regulations, industry standards, and business rules.

Requirements:

  • A motivated individual with analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A basic understanding of the insurance industry and operations.
  • Knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to the insurance/financial industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role in a financial institution or similar institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance-related certifications (e.g., FLMI, CMFAS).
  • A degree in Business, Insurance, or Finance related fields.
