Key Role of Marine Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Marine Service Engineer. This is a challenging position that requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with expertise in marine hydraulic systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems of marine hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out routine maintenance procedures on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Undertake repairs on various marine products, including mechanical and electrical systems, on marine and offshore installations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports from attended jobs.
  • Participate in vessel dockings and work at shipyards.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Marine Engineering.
  • Knowledge of PLC-based control systems and/or Hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with automation or instrumentation is advantageous.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in marine hydraulic systems.
  • Possess excellent initiative, customer-centricity, and action-oriented skills.
