About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Equipment Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for marine equipment and systems.

  • This role involves providing technical assistance and ensuring the reliability of onboard vessels.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on various marine equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of inspections and repairs.
  • Collaborating with operations team members to ensure efficient vessel operations.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum Higher Nitec in any field of Engineering or proven experience.
  • Strong knowledge of marine equipment, systems, and technologies.
  • Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant technical certifications in marine electronics or mechanics are preferred.
  • Able to board vessels frequently.
