Food Processing Specialist
Job Description:
The role of a Food Processing Specialist is multifaceted and demanding. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food processing equipment and machinery in various production lines. This includes monitoring cooking machines, making adjustments to controls, and cleaning and reinstating work stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor food cooking machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Clean and maintain work stations, operate cooking equipment, and dispose of waste according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Inspect food processing equipment and report any instances of improper functioning.
- Operate machinery and equipment in food production lines, adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Verify that finished products meet quality standards by checking size, shape, and appearance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess experience in the F&B sector, with a proven track record of working on night shifts and weekends. Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically is essential. Additionally, candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
