Quantitative Researcher Position

The primary role of a Quantitative Researcher is to design, develop and backtest mathematical models that form the core elements in our trading strategies. We seek talented researchers who can work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing mathematical models using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Backtesting and validating models using historical data and real-time market feeds.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into trading strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Master's or PhD in science, engineering, computing or related field.
  • Graduating in 2025 or having completed a relevant degree program.
  • Solid background in mathematics, including calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R.
  • Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills, with experience in research and/or academic environments.

Bonus qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, MATLAB, etc.).
