Digital Infrastructure Deployment Lead – Industrial Integration

Job Description

Our organization aims to create a new manufacturing concept consisting of modular, adaptable, and agile facilities. This initiative requires an experienced leader who can spearhead the deployment of site-level digital initiatives.

The Digital Infrastructure Deployment Lead will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of site-wide digital infrastructure deployments (e.g., network systems, server installations, connectivity). Additionally, this role involves overseeing the integration of industrial equipment (e.g., sensors, PLCs, manufacturing devices) into the plant's digital network and IT/OT infrastructure.

This position also entails leading the deployment and migration of telephony systems (VoIP, Unified Communications) in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Furthermore, it is essential to ensure all digital initiatives are aligned with corporate IT architecture and security standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and managing effective project governance, scope control, resource planning, and risk management processes.
  • Maintaining project documentation, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure visibility and alignment across teams.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks; escalating critical issues with actionable recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess proven experience in managing digital infrastructure deployments in industrial environments. Experience in integrating industrial/manufacturing equipment with digital networks is also essential. Additionally, candidates should have experience managing telephony projects, including VoIP systems and unified communication tools.

Project Management Certification: PMP, Agile, or equivalent is required. Familiarity with MES, SAP, or other enterprise application deployment in a regulated environment is desirable.

Industry experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Manufacturing with understanding of GxP compliance and validation is highly valued.

Excellent communication skills – ability to prepare business cases, deliver executive presentations, and align diverse stakeholders – are mandatory for this role.
