Faculty Position in Computer Architecture Education

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore invites applications from qualified candidates for a Part-time Lecturer position to teach an undergraduate course. As a lecturer, you will play a key role in shaping the academic journey of our students by delivering high-quality lectures, assessing student performance, and contributing to the development of academic programs.

This 13-week course provides students with in-depth knowledge of computer systems, emphasizing system organizations and designs. The course is designed to cater to the needs of Year 3 students and Final year students who wish to specialize in computer architecture. Through this course, students gain a comprehensive understanding of computer systems, enabling them to appreciate the terminology used in computer architecture. You will also have the opportunity to explore current trends in computer architecture and equip students with the skills to analyze and evaluate computer system performance. To excel in this role, suitable candidates should possess a strong educational background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, preferably with a Master's and/or PhD degree. Past teaching experience at the undergraduate level is mandatory. Candidates with background in Computer Design; Instruction Set Architecture; Buses, Storage Devices and I/O System; DLX machine will be given preference.
