Adjunct AssistantProfessor

The School of BiologicalSciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at the NanyangTechnological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstandingcandidates to apply for an Adjunct AssistantProfessor.

SBS is searching for individuals witha well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record ofpublications in top journals. The successful candidate willestablish and maintain an independent extramurally funded researchprogram. The successful candidate is expected to show a strongcommitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring andteaching.

Requirements:

TheAdjunct Assistant Professor will play a crucial role in supportingthe WS Degree in Laboratory Medicine program. The appointedindividual will be responsible for coordinating clinical rotationswithin their respective hospital group, providing direct oversight,and conducting necessary training for students. This role requirescollaboration with hospital staff and academic faculty to ensure ahigh-quality clinical education experience that meets the program'sgoals andstandards.

Qualifications:
  • APh.D or M.Sc degree in Biomedical Science, Clinical Biochemistry,Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Pathology, orequivalent.
  • Relevant clinical experience in ahospital or laboratory setting.
  • Experience inteaching or training at the undergraduate or graduatelevel.
  • Strong communication, organizational,and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment tofostering an inclusive and supportive learningenvironment.
