Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage full sets of accounts, compile financial reports, and prepare journal entries. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be proficient in accounting software, and have a strong understanding of financial regulations.

  • Manage full set of accounts for multiple companies.
  • Compile financial reports for management review.
  • Prepare and review journal entries for Fixed Assets and General Ledger.
  • Prepare tax computations, accrual entries, and GST reports for submission.
  • Handle annual audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
  • Record all supplier invoices and plan payments based on agreed credit terms.
  • Maintain service agreements and ensure SOP compliance in payment processes.
  • Perform AR checks on tax invoices and debit notes.
  • Handle cash application issues and prepare AR aging reports and statements.
  • Monitor overdue accounts, send reminders and letters of demand when needed.
  • Ensure credit management policies are followed.
  • Maintain positive client relationships in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Process payroll and CPF contributions using cloud-based systems.
  • Manage petty cash, staff claims, and insurance processing.
  • Submit government claims timely and accurately.
  • Maintain employee records and leave balances with proper documentation.
  • Ensure timely IRAS submissions and tax clearances.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA or ACCA).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.
