About the RoleThe Bioinformatics & DRAGEN HW SW department is looking for an experienced data analyst with expertise in algorithm development, statistical modeling, and software development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in genomics data analysis, machine learning, statistics, and software development.
- Develop algorithms for analysis of various data types and platforms for translational research and clinical applications.
- Apply statistics, machine learning, and other computational methods to analyze large-scale genetic and epigenetic data.
- Design and develop software to address novel analytical challenges and automate established analysis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and creating software and workflows for efficient analysis of genetic and epigenetic data.
About YouTo be considered for this role, you should have a PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning or a related field, plus 1-3 years of post-doctoral research or industry experience.
You will also need to have a deep understanding of statistics and bioinformatics algorithms, as well as critical problem-solving and data analysis skills.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C, C++, C#, and/or Java is required.
