Lead Structural Design Specialist

Job Overview
As a structural design professional, you will oversee the structural aspects of various projects. This includes coordinating with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors to ensure all works meet desired quality and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural management, with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
- Coordinate and manage project timelines, design deliverables, and authority submission requirements
- Review and validate design drawings provided by consultants and specialists
- Propose alternative solutions where applicable and feasibility of construction
- Ensure all design works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee site work progress, monitor shop drawing progress, and provide support to the construction team
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience as a structural manager
- Degree holder in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Able to interpret structural design from consultants
- Knowledge in rebar detailing as per structural code requirements
- Skill in Autocad & Revit (a plus)
