
Insurance Claims Manager

You will be responsible for managing client portfolios and working with various insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to resolve claims related to general insurance or health insurance products.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate in General Insurance and/or Health Insurance, as well as a minimum of 3 years of similar experience. Strong communication skills, high integrity, and the ability to handle a high volume of work are essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and adopt a proactive approach to advise them on claims matters.
- Front clients' claim adjudication from registration to the end of the claims life cycle.
- Ensure that claims are registered with insurers within 24 hours.
- Closely follow up on claims submissions to insurers and settlements, with cheques sent out to clients within 48 hours.
- Work closely with insurers, loss adjusters, lawyers, etc., on claims and negotiate for fair and timely reimbursement to clients.
- Prepare and provide weekly/monthly claims activity/review/analysis reports, bordereaux, and claims logs, etc.
- Regularly prepare, review, and analyze claims profiling with clients.
- Maintain proper documentation trails submitted by clients and electronically file documents according to protocol.
Requirements:
- Possess Certificate in General Insurance and/or Health Insurance, CII/SII, ANZIFF, or equivalent.
- Min 3 years of similar experience.
- Experienced claims handler who can handle high-volume work.
- High integrity, responsive, organized, eager to learn.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
