Eye Care Industry Specialist

This role is responsible for developing and delivering quality educational programs and customized training initiatives. The goal is to establish strategic partnerships with key eye care professionals, driving their preference for Hoya Vision Care brands and enhancing patients' retail experience.
The job involves hands-on tasks such as:
- Developing training modules and delivering quality education training programs
- Conducting lectures and workshops for eye care professionals in the Singapore market
- Training materials development and delivery implementation roll-out plan
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor in Optometry and at least 2 years of relevant working experience in retail optical settings. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is essential, and knowledge in IT is an added advantage.
Key attributes include a keen interest in the technical aspects of ophthalmic lenses, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to handle stressful situations with tact and wisdom. Proficiency in the Chinese language is required for effective communication with clients/customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting and delivering training on a periodic basis to various groups of eye care professionals
- Working closely with institutes and associations to deliver education sessions and professional conferences
- Monitoring industry movements and activities, developing competitive analysis to overcome objectives
- Assisting in troubleshooting requests from clients/pre/post normal retail hours
- Coordinating with the Marketing Team to promote Hoya Vision Care products during launches/events
