About the Role:
We're on the lookout for talented 3D modelers to join our dynamic team. As a 3D modeller, you will be responsible for creating virtual worlds and characters that bring concepts to life. You will be working in a collaborative environment with experienced artists, engineers and programmers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and manage digital assets such as environments and props.
• Interpret concept art and sketches to create detailed models and characters.
• Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints.
• Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members.
• Create textures and UV maps, optimize, refine and correct model geometry.
• Work closely with artists and programmers to execute projects on time.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modelling tools and technologies.
Requirements:
• Expert level knowledge of 3D design and modeling tools such as Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Sketchup, ZBrush etc.
• An eye for detail and good visualization skills.
• Ability to take feedback and make changes as required.
• Good communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D design and modeling.
• Technical diploma in 3D modelling or a degree in fine arts.
• Some scripting experience (e.g. Python) and procedural modelling (e.g. Houdini) is an added bonus.
