Kitchen Support Specialist

The position of a Kitchen Support Specialist is open for applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen area is clean and operational, performing tasks under the guidance of a senior kitchen staff member.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas
• Washing utensils and storing them properly
• Organizing ingredients and supplies
• Preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking foodstuffs
• Disposing of waste
• Handling laundry operations
• Cleaning equipment, floors, and other tools or areas in the kitchen
• Carrying out ad-hoc duties assigned by the kitchen supervisor

Requirements:
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and handling guidelines
• Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of recipes and ingredients
