Community Relations Manager Role Description

This role is focused on engaging with the local community and promoting HDB's policies and programmes. As a key member of the Community Partnerships Department, you will be responsible for planning and executing community building programmes and outreaches, as well as marketing and engagement initiatives.

  • Develop strategic plans to engage with community groups, schools, and stakeholders to promote HDB's mission and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and project management skills, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Coordinate with volunteers to develop, plan, and execute programmes for Friends of The Heartlands (FOH) participants, track outcomes, and conduct programme reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and execute community building programmes and outreaches.
  2. Plan and execute marketing and engagement initiatives.
  3. Review programmes and outreaches on its impact.
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated and able to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Digital and social media savvy.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Good writing skills along with strong presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Work well independently and a good team player.
