About the Role

  • Advocate for Cloud Native Technology and guide clients through the implementation of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to design a future-state cloud environment that meets their needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement Proof Of Concept projects to validate cloud strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on cloud security and data protection.
  • Lead project delivery teams in architecting, designing, and delivering capabilities to existing environments from infrastructure to systems and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AWS/Azure cloud concepts and hands-on experience working with cloud services.
  • Experience in designing multi-cloud services and possessing knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, container management, and cloud computing capabilities.
  • Solid background in Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration, as well as understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols.
  • Ability to utilize cloud security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets.
  • Understanding of agile software development and ability to apply DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure Resource Manager templates or Cloud Formation.
  • Experienced in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#/.NET.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enterprise Architect certification.
  • Experience working with private clouds or cloud strategy/assessment work for clients in the Financial Services or Insurance Industry.
