About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing M&E works schedule based on project master schedule, monitoring shop drawings and material submission, verifying that M&E drawing complies with authorities' requirements, highlighting discrepancies and/or conflicts with architectural and structural elements in M&E drawings, preparing progress reports, coordinating between sub-contractors and project team for smooth delivery of work, resolving design and construction issues, monitoring installation work as per coordinated, conducting inspections and testing of building works, documenting inspection records upon verification by RE/RTO, following up on rectification work and other follow-up tasks.


Requirements:
  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as an M&E Coordinator in a local construction firm is required.
  • Good knowledge of local standards and requirements is essential.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
