Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations, negotiations, and settlements of claims and recoveries, ensuring that these are carried out equitably and expeditiously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations into claims and recoveries, identifying potential issues and trends
  • Negotiate with reinsurers and third parties to ensure fair and timely settlements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claims and recoveries
  • Monitor provisions for outstanding claims and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the training and development of staff in the claims department
  • Review and verify claim files to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless processing of claims and recoveries
Requirements
  • Diploma in any discipline
  • BCP, PGI & HI certification
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in marine, engineering, machinery breakdown, foreign maid, and inward treaty claims
  • Meticulous and organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
