Project Development Specialist

As a Project Development Specialist, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision. This role involves creating and executing project work plans, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Develop project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the projects, including preparation of progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Identify issues and escalate to project management well ahead of time to ensure prompt resolution
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of project experience, preferably in energy management or construction
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems, including controls and starters
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with willingness to travel as needed
