Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and experience in user research, product design, and UX/UI design.

In this role, you will conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and establish a shared vision. Your tasks will include creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for intuitive user experiences. You will balance product strategy and functionality to align with business objectives and user needs.

You will validate designs through user testing and iterate based on feedback. You will harmonize processes and user experience journeys by translating user needs and business requirements into design outcomes. You will clearly present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and user-centric thinking. You will ensure consistency and efficiency by maximizing design methods, processes, and tools.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. You will require 3-5 years of experience in user research, product design, and UX/UI design. You will need to have a strong portfolio showcasing relevant design skills. Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools such as InVision or Figma is essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also required. Problem-solving skills and a user-centric mindset are must-haves. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguous requirements and environments. Proficiency in user-centred design frameworks/design thinking is necessary.

Good to Have

Experience working in an agile set-up would be beneficial. Experience with COTS products and customization would also be advantageous.
