Chief Procurement Specialist

The procurement strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies and plans. This includes expediting bid submissions, coordinating vendor responses, and performing commercial evaluations to recommend award placements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive procurement strategies and plans to optimize supply chain management
- Expedite bid submissions and coordinate vendor responses to meet project timelines and deliverables
- Perform thorough commercial evaluations and prepare recommendations for award placements
- Manage procurement status reports and establish strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal outcomes
- Identify and mitigate inefficiencies in the supply chain to improve overall effectiveness and efficiency
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Business, or Engineering
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations as well as international industry standards and best practices
- At least 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management or related work, with a focus on procuring complex equipment and materials
- Strong organizational, communication, and judgment skills, with ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, with ability to learn new software quickly
