Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Investment Associate to join our team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will support the investment, asset management and portfolio management objectives of the Real Estate team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the selection of deals and preparing preliminary analysis and documents for investment recommendations within established timelines.
  • Supporting senior team members by conducting rigorous financial modeling.
  • Contributing to the creation of internal reports and keeping them up to date.
  • Comprehensively reviewing target properties cashflow projections and target companies' financial reports, establishing comparables that are representative of the competitive universe and conducting detailed analysis.
  • Supporting senior team members in preparing and organizing meetings and discussions with existing and potential partners.

In addition, the successful candidate will:

  • Systematically conduct in-depth research on current trends in their sectors of activity, proactively monitoring news and collecting information from relevant sources.
  • Develop effective search and monitoring tools.
  • Produce sector studies / market screenings to continue to the team's business development.
  • Participate in the development of work processes and updating required information.
  • Contribute to asset management, including setting asset and partnership budgets and monitoring actual performance.
  • Generate value-add in asset management and portfolio management by supporting senior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or accounting from a top-tier institution.
  • 3-5 years' experience in finance/investment.
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Comfortable with software used in finance (Excel, Capital IQ, ThomsonOne, Bloomberg, etc.).
  • Fluent English is required, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Available for frequent international travel.
