We are looking for an exceptional School Maintenance Coordinator to join our facilities management team at Etonhouse International Holdings. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the school's facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Carry out daily checks of the school premises to identify any maintenance issues;
  2. Develop and implement schedules for routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems;
  3. Collaborate with teachers and staff to understand their maintenance requirements and priorities;
  4. Source and manage external contractors for specialized maintenance work, such as carpentry and painting;
  5. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols;
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including dates, descriptions, and costs;
  7. Participate in facility upgrades and renovations, working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders;
  8. Lead training sessions for staff on new equipment, processes, and best practices;
  9. Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste, reduce energy consumption, and promote sustainability;
  10. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding maintenance-related issues;
  11. Foster strong relationships with local suppliers and partners to secure competitive pricing and services;
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure the school's facilities remain modern and compliant.

Requirements

  • Possess a diploma in facilities management or a related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in education or a similar sector;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software relevant to facilities management.
