- Animal Care: Provide proper husbandry, housing, care, feeding, training, enrichment, and presentation of animals for positive welfare.
- Reporting: Identify and report abnormalities, health concerns, or behavioral issues in animals.
- Record Keeping: Complete daily recordkeeping forms for feeding, weights, behavior, training, and enrichment as required.
- Repairs and Renovations: Report repairs and renovations as necessary.
- Presentation and Engagement: Maintain high-quality animal presentations and guest interactive programs to promote conservation.
- Shows and Training Sessions: Participate in shows as presenter, handler, and/or backstage support, conduct training sessions with assigned animals and behaviors within completion timelines.
- Collaboration and Idea Generation: Participate in discussions and contribute to new animal behaviors, routines, and presentation ideas.
- Education: Minimum 'N' Level education.
- Experience: At least 2 years of prior experience in animal care, veterinary medicine, training, or shows is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Good written and spoken communication skills.
- Teamwork: Effective and motivated team player.
- Presentation and Handling: Able to present in front of crowds and work with animals.
- Innovation: Able to contribute to new concepts and ideas to improve presentations.
- Scheduling: Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
