Electronics Engineer - Laser Systems
">We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team developing next-generation laser systems for defense and security applications. As an Electronics Engineer in this role, you will lead the design and integration of high-performance electronics, including power supplies, laser drivers, thermal control, and safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and integrate high-voltage power electronics, laser drivers, and thermal/safety control systems
- Develop and test PCB layouts and prototypes; troubleshoot and validate hardware
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC and laser safety standards
- Collaborate across optics, mechanical, software, and systems teams
- Produce detailed technical documentation and maintain configuration control
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in power/control electronics for laser or electro-optic systems
- Proficient in PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, PSpice, LTSpice)
- Strong background in embedded systems, analog/digital design, and thermal management
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
