Main Responsibilities
  • Lead Water Polo Coach with a focus on improving the team's performance and enhancing player skills.

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating pre-season assessments, registrations, trials, and class allocations, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Support the sign-up process, providing excellent customer service to applicants.
  • Respond to and follow up on parent enquiries by email and telephone, maintaining open communication channels.
Hosting Meets and Invitationals
  • Attend and coach at meets where our team competes, driving success and excellence.
  • Plan sessions and track athlete performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure competitions run smoothly, with minimal disruptions.
  • Liaise with volunteers and provide direction and guidance to their supporting roles, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Person Specifications
  • Level 2 Coach or UKCC Level 2 certified or international equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of coaching experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Certified First Aider, able to respond to emergencies effectively.
  • Computer-literate and familiar with popular software and platforms.
  • Able to work with children of different age groups, adapting to their unique needs.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to multitask and work independently.
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with parents and staff alike.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a passion for developing young athletes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
