Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our global sustainability risk and compliance efforts. As the Global Sustainability Risk and Compliance Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks to the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global sustainability risk management strategies to ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability regulations.
  • Identify and assess potential sustainability risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact.
  • Lead the development of crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure the company's ability to respond to sustainability-related crises.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of sustainability-related policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry associations, and NGOs.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to business leaders on sustainability-related matters.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.
  • At least 15 years of experience in sustainability risk management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective sustainability risk management strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and sustainability regulations, including ISO 26000 and the Global Reporting Initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
