Job Title: IT Infrastructure System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-focused professional to fill the role of IT Infrastructure System Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in managing firewalls, networks, endpoints and Microsoft 365.

Main Responsibilities:Firewall & Network Administration
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto) to ensure network security and integrity.
  • Manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, and VPNs to optimize network performance.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
Endpoint Management
  • Administer endpoint protection platforms including Microsoft Defender Antivirus to protect against malware and other threats.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies across all devices to maintain data integrity.
  • Perform patch management and software deployment to keep systems up-to-date.
Security Operations
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure to prevent cyber attacks.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediation to identify and fix security gaps.
  • Collaborate with security teams to respond to incidents and threats in a timely manner.
System Administration
  • Maintain Windows/Linux servers and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V) to ensure system reliability.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services to provide a stable infrastructure.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune to provide a seamless user experience.
  • Administer user accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions via Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell to ensure efficient access control.
  • Monitor service health, usage, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall rules, endpoint security and Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
