Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Assistance: Offer expert advice to customers on paint application, resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with Hempel specifications.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including testing and maintaining products, equipment, and services.
  • Recurring Application Issues: Monitor and resolve recurring application problems to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Complex Projects: Advise customers on complex projects, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: ITE or GCE 'O' or Diploma.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus and orientation is essential for this role.
  • Valid Driving License: A valid driving license is required for occasional travel.
  • Technical Knowledge: Previous experience in delivering coating services as a paint manufacturer technical service representative, yard's shipwright or applicator would be valuable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English are necessary for this position.
