Job Overview:
As a senior procurement executive freight buyer, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating logistics services. You will negotiate with service providers, plan the most cost-effective route for freight, review purchase requisitions and orders, liaise with project teams and vendors, and manage the full spectrum of purchasing processes for logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logistics Analysis:
    • Analyze and evaluate logistics services to optimize transportation costs and improve delivery times.
  • Negotiation and Planning:
    • Negotiate with logistics service providers to secure the best rates and services.
    • Plan the most cost-effective route for freight to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management:
    • Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Liaise with project teams and vendors to resolve any issues or concerns related to logistics services.
  • Process Management:
    • Manage the full spectrum of purchasing processes for logistics services to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering/process/marine offshore/logistics/supply chain management or related discipline.
  • Experience:
    • 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics, procurement, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
