Product Development Specialist

We are looking for a Product Development Specialist who will be responsible for representing the product and technical features and benefits of our NAT products and services.

The successful candidate will develop and execute product & marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet organization's objectives. He/She will evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve financial objectives by implementing effective product & marketing strategies and programs.
  • Define, implement and manage product & marketing strategies as well as ensure the activities and tactics executed at country level directly or through distributors generate good feedback and successful return on investment.
  • Develop programs and materials for product launch initiatives to maximize product sales potential.
  • Improve distributor and sales effectiveness through the design and development of effective sales tools and training.
  • Train sales, distributors and customer support personnel on new and existing products.
  • Support sales team on product specifications and necessary documents for tenders.
  • Partner with the sales managers in leading technical sales presentations, product demonstrations at customer sites, conferences and tradeshows, technical discussions for both automation and assay performance and optimal workflow recommendations that align with our product strategy.
  • Build a competitive profile and monitor competitive activities.
  • Develop and manage marketing budget for assigned countries.
  • Organize marketing events (distributor meetings, customers meetings, scientific symposium, scientific webinars, etc.) and congresses across the region.
  • Develop regional promotional materials with the support from regional communications to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Evaluate trends, opportunities and threats and propose corresponding measures.
  • Report market share and geographic expansion on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage outside vendor relationships.
  • Oversight of the management of marketing database, which includes customer information, mailing list applications, etc.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in healthcare industry working in a technical role, preferably in the Blood industry.
