Job Title: Business Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to drive business growth and revenue expansion for our organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, networking, and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell a diverse range of banking products and services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Identify and acquire new borrowing accounts through outreach initiatives and referrals
  • Offer financial solutions to address the needs of SME clients
  • Build strong sales networks with internal and external business partners
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum diploma in any discipline
  • 2+ years of business banking sales experience
  • Strong working attitude, motivated, and result-oriented

You should also have excellent negotiation, lead generation, and communication skills. A strong understanding of KPI scorecards, pitching, and balanced scorecards is also desirable.
