About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team at RECRUIT HAUS PTE. LTD. as a key member of our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and upgrading a wide range of security technologies to ensure the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of post-sales engineers responsible for the implementation and deployment of network and security solutions.
  • Security Solutions: Collaborate with sales, product management, and support teams to develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans tailored to meet customer requirements.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on our network and security solutions, providing pre-sales support as needed to assist in solution design and proposal development.
  • Customer Success: Drive customer success by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to network and security solutions, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline implementation and enhance customer experience.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic initiatives and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in a technical role within the network and security industry, with a strong understanding of networking protocols, security technologies, and best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive technical know-how of network security devices (E.g. Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, DNSSEC)
  • Compliance & Security: Familiarity with industry-accepted information security and IT standards, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing technical teams, with a focus on driving results, fostering collaboration, and developing talent.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCITP/MCSE, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are mandatory as it is the part of project prerequisites.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience on blockchain Security is preferred as it is part of this project. Experience with network and security solutions from leading vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba/Juniper, etc. Proficient in at least one scripting languages (E.g. YAML, JSON, Bash) Experience with Cloud Networks, Containers will be advantageous Experience with project management should be part and parcel for project coordination and management. ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Audit Certification is mandatory Ability to speak and write in Chinese as the incumbent requires to liaise with the China HQ counterparts/personnel for work or project related matters
