Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop network architecture and design for deployment into production environments.
  • Lead as Subject Matter Expert to design, plan, and deploy technical solutions that meet business and system requirements.
  • Design, implement, and support network security solutions, including SD WAN, Firewalls, Secure Internet Gateway, LAN/WLAN, SASE, NAC, and VPN technologies.
  • Collaborate with Server and Application teams to troubleshoot and resolve network security issues.
  • Support major incidents and changes, working with stakeholders to take corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review and troubleshoot network architecture and design with country team members.
  • Create and update technical standards and architecture specifications.
  • Provide network architecture reviews, assessments, and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate with external vendors to ensure systems and applications are delivered in accordance with SLA.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or closely related field with 8+ years of experience in Network Operations, Implementation, and Design, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Solution Planning, Design, Architecture, and Implementation.
  • Strong systems engineering skills with Network and Firewall architecture.
  • Industrial certification: CCDE, CCIE (Security and/or R&S), CCNP, or CISSP, and ITIL.
  • In-depth technical experience and proficiency in deploying network systems for large enterprise and data center routing switching environments.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and setting up high-availability, multi-layer datacenter networks, Internet Gateway, VPN, NAC, and ISE.
  • In-depth knowledge of Firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto), Load balancers (F5).
  • Experienced knowledge of Cisco Router and Switches (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst), advance IP routing and switching technologies, particularly BGP, EIGRP, SDWAN, OSPF, PBR, QOS, VRRP, VPC, and VXLAN.
  • Proficient in technical report writing and documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) would be valuable.
  • Prior working experience as an IT professional in banking or financial institutions is an advantage.
