Seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to lead the delivery of cutting-edge Counter-Unmanned Autonomous Systems (C-UAS) projects. This is an exciting opportunity to spearhead a team of engineers in designing, integrating, and implementing C-UAS solutions tailored to clients' operational requirements.

This role will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design, integration, testing, and deployment of C-UAS solutions. The successful candidate will understand user operational requirements and translate them into technical system solutions. Proactive research and keeping abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and threats in the C-UAS landscape are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, preferably in defense, aerospace, security, or complex sensor and communication systems. Good understanding and working experience in the C-UAS domain, including relevant technologies such as radar, RF sensors, electro-optical/infrared systems, RF jamming/spoofing, and integrated command-and-control systems are required.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex engineering solutions. Analyzing, evaluating, and proposing technical solutions tailored to operational requirements is crucial. Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to evolving technologies and operational scenarios are key qualities for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, integration, testing, and deployment of C-UAS solutions.
  • Understand user operational requirements and translate them into technical system solutions.
  • Proactively research and keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and threats in the C-UAS landscape.
  • Engage with industry partners, vendors, and technology providers to evaluate new capabilities and solutions.
  • Develop system architectures and technical proposals for C-UAS projects, ensuring optimal balance of performance, cost, and schedule.
  • Drive end-to-end system engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Manage technical risks and issues, providing timely resolution and mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for C-UAS capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in defense, aerospace, security, or complex sensor and communication systems.
  • Good understanding and working experience in the C-UAS domain, including relevant technologies such as radar, RF sensors, electro-optical/infrared systems, RF jamming/spoofing, and integrated command-and-control systems.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex engineering solutions.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and propose technical solutions tailored to operational requirements.
