Senior Data Strategist Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Strategist to join our team in Singapore. This role will lead the strategy for data science initiatives across the organization, focusing on operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

  • This position involves developing and leading the strategy for data-driven insights into business decisions, leveraging expertise in machine learning, spatial analytics, and statistical analysis.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable data architectures, utilizing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • They will also conduct advanced technical skills training and mentor junior data scientists or analysts.
Key Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and data science roles, with demonstrated expertise working with location-based or IoT sensor data.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (Python or R), data manipulation libraries (pandas, numpy, dplyr), and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MongoDB with geospatial features) and visualization tools (matplotlib, plotly, seaborn).
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with proven track records of translating complex analytical insights into business value.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of streaming data processing (Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming) and MLOps practices.
  • A background in simulation modeling or discrete event simulation.
  • Publications or presentations at relevant conferences (healthcare informatics, spatial analytics).
