Job Title: Portfolio Manager - Fund Operations

This role involves overseeing fund accounting teams to deliver comprehensive services to clients across Private Equity, Real Estate, and Hybrid funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the calculation and reporting of Net Asset Values.
  • Oversee investor servicing activities, including on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and reporting.
  • Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply its terms to financial reporting and income/expense allocations.
  • Stay up-to-date with current accounting principles and develop solutions for emerging issues.
  • Review financial statements and footnotes for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely completion of tasks.
  • Lead the new funds on-boarding process, ensuring everything is in order prior to launch.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on operational matters, issue discussion, and other requests.
  • Resolve client queries in a timely manner and maintain high client satisfaction levels.
  • Identify opportunities for internal process improvement and efficiency increases.
  • Participate in client pitches or sales efforts as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
  • Hold a university degree in Banking, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or Economics, preferably with a relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in fund administration, specifically serving Private Equity and/or Real Estate clients.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Excel.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and GAAP, with an advantage for Luxembourg GAAP, Japanese GAAP, and Singapore GAAP.
  • Familiarity with Yardi and Geneva accounting software would be beneficial.
