About the Position

The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to contribute to our research efforts in developing new carbon materials enhanced concrete.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and characterize advanced concrete materials with enhanced properties through the incorporation of various carbon materials.
  2. Test and evaluate the performance of developed materials using relevant analytical and experimental techniques.
  3. Analyze and compare the cost-benefit and environmental impact of developed materials.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues within the research group to advance our understanding of carbon materials and enhanced concrete.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD degree in material science, civil, chemical engineering, or related fields from a recognized university.
  • Prior research experience in similar areas with a strong track record of publications and/or patents.
  • In-depth knowledge of carbon materials, enhanced concrete, and geopolymer materials.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively.
