Organising Committee Member - ASEAN Chairmanship 2027

The Ministry of Trade and Industry seeks a highly motivated individual to join the Organising Secretariat for the ASEAN Chairmanship 2027. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of meetings and events throughout Singapore.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop meeting plans and ensure seamless execution.
    • Liaise with event management companies to provide exceptional services to delegates.
    • Work with programme committees to propose suitable venues and programmes for social events.
    • Oversee the setup of plenary, bilateral meeting venues, and registration counters.
  • VIP Management:
    • Provide VIPs with an exceptional experience by coordinating with Liaison Officers and managing accommodation and transport.
    • Ensure adequate medical services and facilities at meeting venues.
    • Coordinate with Liaison Officers, Hotel & Airport Liaison Staff, Transport Vendor and relevant stakeholders for smooth VIP movements.
  • Administration & Budget:
    • Ensure smooth daily administrative duties, including monitoring and tracking of budget and procurement.
    • Prepare Conference Kit/Information Notes for all delegates.
    • Manage and oversee pre-event and onsite registration processes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
    • Preferably related working experience.
    • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Skills and Qualities:
    • Strong analytical, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
    • Committed, self-driven, and a team player who works well with multiple stakeholders.
