Role Summary

This is a key role within our Student Life department, responsible for leading and implementing various initiatives to enhance student safety, campus vibrancy, and freshmen transition into the university.

">

The successful candidate will have good student development skills and knowledge, with strong leadership abilities and collaborative spirits. They will work closely with our team to design, develop, and deliver Student Onboarding programmes, manage Campus Safety initiatives, and coach and mentor students in various Student Life programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Design, develop, and deliver Student Onboarding programmes for SUSS students, including International and Postgraduate Students">
  • Manage Campus Safety initiatives, including being the lead person to manage Student Conduct">
  • Coach and mentor students in the various Student Life programmes">
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of Student Life programmes">
  • Develop strategic partnerships with relevant external organisations and Alumni">
  • Work across various offices within Student SUcceSS Centre to support the different functions and events as necessary">
  • Manage administrative duties related to student life programmes, including pre and post event publicity, data management, finance, etc.">
  • Attend training and development courses relevant to work and professional development">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A degree holder with at least 5 years of professional experience">
  • Experience in student development and people development will be useful">
  • Team player, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills">
  • Able to work independently with a strong eye for detail">
  • Strong coordination, administrative and organisational skills">
  • Intellectually inquisitive; with a good awareness of current and global affairs">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications">
  • Must be able to travel to regional countries at least once every quarter, if required">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills">
