The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of liquidity and interest rate risk across the organization. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining best-in-class risk management programs, policies, and practices to ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
As part of the Finance CRO management global team, this role will help to ensure a sound and robust second-line oversight, a consistent implementation of policies and procedures across entities operating out of Singapore. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of treasury, market risk, liquidity management, and derivative products, as well as a subject matter expertise in asset-liability management, financial instruments, risk metrics, and risk management.
The role requires excellent analytical, technical, and quantitative skills, with the ability to interact with auditors/regulators and an understanding of applicable best practice guidelines and regulations. Additionally, the candidate should have good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain best-in-class risk management programs, policies, and practices to ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Singapore FINCRO team, Asia South, and Japan Cluster Head, as well as other cluster Finance CROs, global risk teams, and seniors to ensure best-in-class risk activities.
- Provide oversight and guidance on the assessment of broad complex issues, structures potential solutions, and drives effective resolution with other senior stakeholders.
- Review and participate in approval and providing feedback on local risk framework, as well as monitor compliance with risk limits/triggers.
