Civil Engineering Project Lead Position:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Lead to oversee the construction of civil and structural works.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in major construction works such as deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, and flexible/rigid aircraft pavement.

  • Ensure high-quality work and maintain good safety practices in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Attend meetings related to the project, including site, progress, variation, coordination, QAQC, etc.
  • Provide ongoing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations.
  • Carry out supervision and inspection of M&E works, including concreting, pavement, drainage, compaction, curing of concrete, formwork, re-props, removal of props, quality & erection of precast components, and steel works.
  • Manage and supervise Resident Technical Officers under their charge.
  • Coordinate with the safety team and provide an overview of WASH and aerodrome safety management systems and implementation of safe working practices on site.
  • Ensure all construction works do not impact or affect client operations.
  • Verify reports and claims relating to M&E works submitted by contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the quality of work and materials delivered to the site, take corrective actions for any non-compliance, and report any materials that do not conform to specifications to the OIC.
  • Resolve main contractors' queries and coordinate works onsite.
  • Adhere to shift duty roster assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of civil engineering experience with 3 years of experience in major construction works.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PEB.
  • Able to perform shift work.
