Senior Equipment Engineer

Job Description:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Equipment Engineer to lead the setup and operation of new Test Cell systems, including test hardware and product qualification. As a key member of our equipment engineering team, you will be responsible for driving preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance, and analyzing parts usage and life span to optimize machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive production readiness of new Test Cell systems, including test hardware and product qualification
  • Develop and implement control plans to monitor and manage deviations
  • Strategize and plan machine overhaul and reconditioning based on need and usage
  • Develop equipment specifications for next generation or 2nd source equipment/tools
  • Manage training for operators, technicians, and engineers as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Min - 5 years of experience in final test equipment in semiconductor industry
  • Experience in Tri temp IC Test Handler (e.g., Delta Matrix/Advantest M48xx series) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of problem-solving and analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, QC tools)
  • Technically sound with a strong desire to build technical competency
  • Hands-on problem solving and proactive mindset
  • Project management experience and proactive communication to provide timely updates to various stakeholders
