Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior DeFi Research Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of HELIX's RWA protocol.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of DeFi market trends, identifying potential opportunities and risks, and developing strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investor Relations:
    • Assist in preparing investment materials, including teasers, investor presentations, and whitepapers.
    • Identify and establish relationships with crypto investors, including VC firms, family offices, private investors, and crypto funds.
    • Build and maintain relationships with a large group of suitable investors for investment into the fund.
    • Coordinate investor due diligence and onboarding processes.
  • Research:
    • Conduct comprehensive DeFi industry research and develop insightful analysis to create internal and external reports.
    • Monitor markets across TradFi, CeFi, and DeFi, and contribute to a jointly-authored daily newsletter.
  • Marketing:
    • Promote and market the protocol through various communication channels, including social media, Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
    • Support brand and product campaigns to raise awareness about the Web3 decentralized lending protocol.
  • Other Ad-Hoc Duties:
    • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Penultimate year or above undergraduates/postgraduates with a background in business, accountancy, or marketing.
  • Proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
  • Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, investor relations, venture capital, private equity, or web3 projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of DeFi protocols, trends, themes, and tokenomics.
  • Networking skills and an enjoyment of building relationships with investors.
  • Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • Programming skills are a plus but not required.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
