Job Overview

As a key member of the Sentosa team, you will play a vital role in ensuring beach safety and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role
This part-time position requires you to work on weekends and Public Holidays on rotating shifts, providing cover for our Beach HQ during operating hours. You will be responsible for maintaining beach safety, acting as a beach spotter, and supporting the Beach Patrol Officer in executing lifeguard duties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as a beach spotter, assisting in maintaining beach safety and identifying potential hazards.
  • Provide first aid services and deliver comprehensive beach safety guidance to guests, promoting a culture of awareness and responsibility.
  • Serve as a beach sentry, verifying delivery orders and prior approvals for vehicles entering the beach zone.
  • Manage Beach 3 and operate the intercom system, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct marine safety responsibilities, including collection of fish traps and assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to fluently communicate in English. A strong knowledge of first aid, automated external defibrillation (AED), and swimming abilities are advantageous. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
