Financial Transformation Expert

This is a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Financial Transformation Expert, playing a pivotal role in driving business growth through effective financial management and process improvement.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading finance-related transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational needs. This will involve streamlining operational efficiency, enhancing statutory compliance, and providing expert guidance on financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of full sets of accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and other reporting schedules.
  • Group consolidation accounts and coordinate with subsidiaries' finance teams on month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare group consolidated budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Perform and provide analysis and interpretation of financial results/performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, half-yearly, and year-end closing to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare timely insightful management and financial reports, monitoring actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Handle the preparation of annual reports and other financial/operational reports required for regulatory submissions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience with a few years of Big 4 audit experience.
  • Solid hands-on experience in preparing consolidation and full set of accounts, and financial reporting for public listed companies.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (FRS), SGX regulations, proficiency in financial & management accounting, and taxation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with Microsoft Dynamic 365 Business Central system.
