Job Title

A geospatial expert is sought to spearhead the development of GIS solutions across various sectors.

  • About the Role:
    • We are seeking a skilled GIS Consultant to architect and configure GIS solutions tailored to sectors like urban planning, utilities, transportation, natural resources, and banking/retail location analytics.
    • The ideal candidate will design and deploy data models, geodatabases, map services, and APIs.
    • This role involves integrating GIS with ERP, CRM, or IoT platforms using web services, REST APIs, and enterprise databases.
    • The consultant will also support development of custom GIS apps, dashboards, and mobile field solutions using tools such as ArcGIS Experience Builder, Python, JavaScript, or FME.
    • Automation of workflows (ETL processes, batch geoprocessing) for efficiency is a key responsibility.
Requirements
  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
    • Expert in Esri ArcGIS (Desktop/Pro, Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) or QGIS.
    • Strong spatial data modeling, geodatabase design (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) and complex geoprocessing.
    • Proficiency in Python (ArcPy, GeoPandas) and ETL tools such as FME.
    • Ability to build and automate web maps and apps using JavaScript (ArcGIS API, Leaflet/Mapbox).
    • Deploying and managing GIS solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
    • Integrating GIS with ERP/CRM/IoT systems using REST/OGC web services.
