About Our Data Engineering Role

  • This is a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer position with extensive experience in modern data platforms, including Databricks, Snowflake, ELT processes, and big data technologies like Apache Spark.

Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, strong programming skills in Java and Python, and a deep understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and governance. The responsibilities include:

  • Architect and design cloud-based data infrastructure to support analytics, machine learning, and reporting needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data pipelines (ELT/ETL) using Databricks, Spark, and other big data technologies.
  • Optimize the use of cloud-native platforms like Snowflake for high-performance data warehousing and analytics.
  • Experience with integration on relevant tools and software such as Terraform, Ansible, SonarQube, Nexus, Gitlab.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and secure data architectures.
  • Implement data governance practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Analytics, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in data architecture and data engineering.
  • Proven expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with ELT/ETL pipeline design, data warehousing, and data lakes.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
