Experience the cutting-edge of cloud data engineering as a GCP DevOps Architect. In this role, you will design and automate scalable Google Cloud Lakehouse architectures integrated with MicroStrategy One BI.


Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative team and lead large-scale cloud data programs in Agile environments. As a seasoned GCP DevOps Architect, you will drive the development and implementation of advanced cloud-native data architecture, DevOps practices, data science workflows, and Agile delivery methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement DevOps pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and BI reporting using GCP services.
  • Design and manage scalable data architectures, data models, and metadata frameworks to support advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Integrate MicroStrategy One BI with Google Cloud data services for enterprise-grade dashboards and insights.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring using cloud-native tools and frameworks.
  • Operationalize machine learning models and data science workflows using Vertex AI and other GCP services.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards across environments.
  • Lead Agile delivery across onshore/offshore teams, ensuring sprint goals, release milestones, and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements:Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions. Additionally, you should possess proficiency in DevOps tools: Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, Kubernetes, Docker.

You should also have experience with infrastructure as code, automated deployments, and monitoring/logging frameworks. Furthermore, strong knowledge of data lakehouse architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data lifecycle management is required. Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy One BI: architecture, metadata, dashboard/reporting integration is necessary. Familiarity with data science workflows, including model training, deployment, and monitoring, is also preferred.

Proven ability to lead large-scale cloud data programs in Agile environments, managing onshore/offshore delivery models and cross-functional teams, is essential. A strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks, such as GDPR and HIPAA, is also required. Certification in Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Certified – Professional DevOps Engineer is highly valued.
